Screws that are needed are 2 M2.5x20mm for the mosquito and 1 M3x17 or put a 1mm spacer on the original screw that goes through the middle of the x carriage. You will also need 2 m3 nuts. I cut a piece of PTFE tube flush with the opening to sit under the prusa fitting. Super easy upgrade all things considered.

v1.1 has been uploaded and tested, it works great! Will document the needed screws soon.

Also uploaded the IPT and STP for anyone to modify for their own use.

the first version was tested and had some issues. the new version addresses the issues that I was able to fix. Will test tonight and update my results.

I ran into issues with jamming in my Prusa Mini. From what I have been seeing all over the place it seems the hotend might be part of the problem. I happen to have an extra Slice Engineering Mosquito on hand so I threw together a replacement for the hotend that should bolt in place. You will need at least 2 M3 nuts and hardware to attach the mosquito. Also a short piece of TPFE tubing to go under the boden tube piece.
Category: 3D Printer Parts
