Prusa Mini Plexiglass Screen Cover

<p>DESCRIPTION:</p><p>This is a quick and easy fix for the Prusa MINI LCD being exposed to potential damage. A small piece of plexiglass or acrylic can be used to cover the screen and prevent damage to the panel while keeping all the usability of it.</p><p>Prints nicely and quickly, it is designed for 2mm thick sheets of plexiglass, if You need thicker ones let me know so I can upload them. Also, for thinner ones you can just add some tape or any type of material to make the fit right.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>INSTRUCTIONS:</p><p>You will need to print the holder and then cut a piece of Plexiglass sized at 46.6 x 63.4 mm. A template is also provided to help with making sure the piece is the right size if You need it.</p><p>For fitting the two parts, depending on the tolerance You have, it can be a friction fit or You might need to use some glue, make sure to cover the Plexi if You glue it as it might frost it easily. I used a couple drops of CA glue after putting tape on the Plexiglass and it worked realy well (the marks in the pictures are from me accidentally scratching the Plexi.</p><p>The one in the pics was printed in AmazonBasics pearl white PLA in less than an hour and works wonderfully.&nbsp;</p>
