This items was posted only due to popular demand from the community forum page and since for sure i would miss a people or two i decided to post it with the following disclosures for now: A) This is still an item that will be modified even more and tested for proper functionality, reliability and print quality. If you decide to print and test you will be doing so on your own risk. B) you will need the folliwing bill of materials. 9pcs of 5x10x4mm ball bearings, 3 tubes of 5(d)mmx9.8(L)mm and 6 tubes 5(d)mmx12-14(L)mm, 6pcs M3x10mm Buttonhead screws (NOT REGULAR ALLEN-----they will hit the bed) and 6mm square nuts C) Tune your multiplier to perfection before you print the parts, tolerences are 0.1mm or less so that with proper printing you can have a perfect fit. You need one regular bearing holder for the single side and the twin bearing holder printed in 2pcs for the twin bearing side and installed in proper direction on the carriage. After printing you should drill out by hand the 5mm renainer holes. Insert the top bearing from one of the side holes and guide it to fall on the TOP bearing place, after that you can install the two side bearings. Insert the complete part on the carriage and screw from the top with the 3x10 screws, dont over tighten, just a little tight. IF you wish to have a bit of loctite on the screws is fine, concept is that the build part should sit flush on the carriege so the 2 are aligned. Install on the bed and you are all set to print. Future mod includes making the ROD entry/exit 0.1 tolerence from the rod so that no element enter the rails. I would love your feedback so that we can see if we can implement this on all other axis also! Enjoy! P.S.: if all of the testing shows proper function i might edit the design for 695 (5x13x4) ball bearings to be even more robust, but at the moment i dont have any here for testing.
