As part of putting a printer in an enclosure you realise you are limited on space, especially if you go down the route that most people do and use a Ikea Lack table. One of the biggest problems is the bed cable fouling the rear of the case, so you need to use a different bed cover so the cables are routed better. I found for my purposes as I have a Haribo/Zaribo machine I needed a 90 degree cover. I have been using this one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2837970. But I found that when ever I perform a calibration it chews into the extruder heater wires. So I decided to design my own from scratch but basing some of it on the original Prusa bed cover. I haven't had a chance to fit it yet and test it so for now it is a work in progress and I will update once I have tested. I have my cables soldered to the bed at an angle, I have copied Prusa's design for screw on connectors so hopefully it will still work but I am unable to test it. Update: Installed and working fine. Update 24/08/2018: Added a larger version for testing on screw in wires. Update: 18/10/2018 Add step files.
