Prusa Mk3s Extruder setup for Linear Rail MGN12H Ender 3

So, I wanted a direct drive extruder setup and i was not happy with the one available and wanted something like I have on my Prusa. I left the features for the filament runout sensor, but if you don't use one it won't be a problem (I don't). I also went the "while i'm there route" and went with a MGN12H linear rail because it was simple to add to the extrusion with just bolts and T nuts and I wanted to keep the original extruder parts non modified for backup. I upgraded to linear rail on X-Axis, used sensorless homing on my TMC2130 and designed this adapter plate, going sensorless was less headache for me than modifying more hardware. You will need plenty of M3 screws, i ordered a kit from amazon and did not note what I used. Other things to get : - E3D V6 hot end - MGN12H Linear rail (300mm) - Inductive sensor - Steel build plate (for mesh bed levelling) - sensorless homing, otherwise you need to design something for the X limit switch to work - bondtech gear - You can use the stock extruder FAN, but I use the 5V noctua and power it with a LM296 module. The extruder steps per mm are now 140steps per mm (and not 96 like the regular extruder) make sure to make this change in marlin too. Here is a link to my CAD on ONshape https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c8898aacdc669d63ed11febf/w/de1ac0c83b01cef0053b70af/e/fb0c02672a3931545f7354b7 The source documents (MK3s) were taken from grabcad at : https://grabcad.com/library/prusa-i3-mk3-solidworks-1 I got my inspiration from : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3719561 but I wanted a MK3s version and I wanted it to be mounted on My MGN12H rail. I remade the whole design but I will use Remix for credits to him. All extruder parts are the stock prusa ones exept the extruder body, I changed it to add three holes for better rigidity with the base. a E3D V6 hot end is required, and you will also need a Steel Springsheet build plate if you want to use the inductive sensor like me. Have fun. PS: I'm thinking of a version that I could change the belt adapter to include a cable shroud (a bit like on the prusa) which would make the wire management easier. I recommend using PETG at 40-50% infill. No need for supports
