Prusa Printer Monitor

Prusa Printer Monitor

Last weekend I found a webpage with an instruction on how to built an Arduino-Printer-Monitor working with Octoprint. https://github.com/Qrome/printer-monitor

Since I had an Arduino NodeMCU ESP 8288 ( https://www.makershop.de/plattformen/nodemcu/nodemcu-cp2102/ ) laying around here, I tested to install the code on this board. I also had a small 0,96" OLED-Display ( https://www.makershop.de/display/oled/096-zoll-oled-ssd1306/ ), which is used in this project.

The steps on how to do the programing parts are described very good on the page above. After 2 hours of reading and installing everything worked fine.

After this I needed a case for it - the cases on the github-page doesn´t fit to my board, so I designed a case on my own … a little printer :-)

The parts can be printed without any support. Only the small case for the display needs some (automatic) support. Later on I will upload my presliced print-files.

I printed on an Prusa MK3S+
- the black parts with PLA Prusament Galaxy Black
 0,2mm Quality-setting
- the orange parts with PETG Prusament Orange
 0,2mm Quality-setting

Add the parts together with some glue.

The small benchy is not in the files-folder. Use the original files ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:763622 ) and scale it down.

Feel free to build your own tiny Prusa Printer Monitor
