The main issues with the Original Prusa printers is that the motor's wire are soldered into the motor itself and leaving it hanging is a very bad idea. This service tray are meant for you to put the motor and/or other smaller stuffs on top of this tray so that the parts will stay right beside the extruder body. This can be used on any prusa style 3d printer that uses 8mm smooth rods and 45mm center to center spacing.
