Yet again... Not really a "thing" more of instructions Instructions The standard Z-stop switch bracket is unstable and difficult to adjust along with wobbling. So, I have a hack that is an interim fix (almost a solution - but very inelegant). So, using some of the stuff here and a few metal parts the Z-stop bracket is more stable. Parts: 1 - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15761 1 - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15568 2 - Hose clamps - (the smaller ones that will fit onto the smooth rod) 1 - flat plate (I need to draw something - but I cut a fender washer) Instructions: 1) Print the two parts 2) Install the two parts 3) Install a hose clamp below the Opto switch mount 4) Install a plate atop the hose clamp 5) Slide the mount downward onto the plate (to make it level) 6) Install the second clamp above the switch mount and press it downward, sandwiching the mount between the clamp and plate. 7) Adjust to suit Enjoy easily managed Z-stop mount. Also, the file is just this text.
