PS3 Controller Mod

This is a Mod I designed for a PlayStation 3 controller. This mod reroutes the square, triangle, circle and X keys so that you can keep your right thumb always on the joystick. I tried to make the parts as simple as possible for ease of assembly and printing. To completely assemble the controller mod you will need five 6-32 bolts and five 6-32 lock nuts. I got 1.5 inch long bolts and cut them to the right size. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 25% Post-Printing I made all the holes for the bolts nice and snug to reduce slop and wobble around the bolts and to give a nice playing experience. Since the holes are snug, some needed a little sanding to allow the bolt to slide through. So I used a small round file to open up the bolt holes a little. Assembly Step 1 Glue the base and main body parts together as shown Step 2 Glue the Square Button, Square Presser, and Square Pad together as shown. This is easiest done by assembling the square button onto the main body and the putting some super glue in the square button socket and then putting square presser into the socket on the Square button. Then put glue around the top of the square button socket. Hold the square presser arm flat on the main body surface for a few minutes to allow super glue to set. Then glue the square pad on the end of the arm. Step 3 Bolt on the triangle lever. Step 4 Bolt on the O lever. Step 5 Bolt on x button. Step 6 Slide the controller mod onto your PS3 controller and put the last bolt through the holes between the joysticks and tighten it snug.
