PS4 Analog Stick Extension

PS4 Analog Stick Extension

thingiverse

This is my first extension for the analog stick on the PS4. I've made many for the PS3, some successful, some not. I even machined an aluminum version with interchangeable tops! -Update V1.1- Reduced size of clips on bottom for easier removal. Added a chamfer on bottom edge for better clearance. Didn't need support printing on makerbot replicater+ for some reason, though I would recommend still using supports. This works much better than my old PS3 versions as the top of the PS4 stick is much more flat, and therefore easier to model for since you don't have to try and perfectly match a curve. This is super grippy and I love my homemade versions better than any store bought ones. They also print in only 15 minutes! Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator+ Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 10% Notes: You need the support for the concave where the stick actually fits. I haven't tried printing upside down, but the details are so fine and support material would be too hard to remove. I've printed with 5 shells, effectively solid since it is so small.
