3D scan of the southern elephant seal, Mirounga leoninae, created by the [Natural History Museum of Vienna](https://www.nhm-wien.ac.at/en) under license [CC Attribution-NonCommercial](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/). This specimen is from the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean and became part of the collection of the NHM Vienna in 1901. Very few museums own a specimen this large, even fewer have one that is more than 100-years-old!
