Pseudo "Lithophane" Quick Fix for...
thingiverse
Impatient people are notorious for their lack of patience, and those in PANIC mode are especially frantic because Christmas is only two weeks away. Use white or light-colored filament when printing, and enable BRIM and vase mode (set to spiralize in Cura) for optimal results. To save even more time - potentially 15 seconds - print your photo on regular paper using your standard printer while you wait. It doesn't matter whether you use paper or transparencies. If your 3D printer is not equipped with full-color printing capabilities, it's best to stick with black and white prints to avoid disappointment. Once the printing process is complete, you'll be left with a flat slab featuring a notch. Simply insert your picture into the notch, and voila!
