<p>This thing is better than the original metal fitting usually used. Having movement in the Bowden system causes inaccurate extrusion and is a common but often overlooked problem. You want zero movement of your bowden tube! If you have the slightest feeling that it is moving, it is.</p><p>For optimal results:</p><ul><li>Use high printing temperature to aid layer adhesion</li><li>100% infill</li><li>Sand the outside of the PTFE Bowden tube and the inner sides of the clamp to get better grip between them.</li><li>Use <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lboDSH0945g">this trick</a> in addition to the clamp to get even more stability.</li><li>Tighten the nut as much as possible without breaking it</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Ps: im not the original author.
