PTFE Tubing clip

PTFE Tubing clip

When I had a problem with a tangled reel busting my printer on an overnight print, I had to repair all the damage and set it all up again. One of the things that I kept breaking in the process was the little clips used to hold 4mm PTFE tubing in place. This item is a replacement. It works and now several of them are on one of my printers. If you have this type of clip, you feed it over the PTFE tube, insert the tube fully, then push the clip in which holds the tubing in place. To remove it (And this is where the trouble starts) you pull the clip out, which frees the tube to be removed. If the clip sticks and you have big hairy hands, it breaks and you need a new one. I made this in PLA, I have allowed for some shrinkage, so the piece is exact once cooled. With small, fiddly pieces like this, it is wise you use a raft and a brim.
