Puerto Rico Board Game Boats

thingiverse

While playing a round of Puerto Rico with my student game group, we realized that we wanted 3D boats to store our goods and colonists while playing. A few measurements and quick design in Inventor helped us achieve our goal. It's hard to see in this photo but the boats for the goods have recessed squares to help hold and count the goods. Update: 4/26/2016 I edited all of the boats to use less plastic, be easier to reach inside and place/remove the good tokens, and to nest into each other for easier storage in the game's box. I also smoothed out some of the edges in the tray. Instructions For the standard Puerto Rico game, print out Boats 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and the Colonist boat. I used a different color for the colonist boat to make it easy to identify it. I have uploaded a file for the goods in case you lose one and need to print a replacement and uploaded a convenient tray to store your supply of colonists. I have had success with both ABS and PLA plastic using the default settings.
