Angel Wing Designs created a fantastic little discus launch glider (DLG) weighing in at around 100g. Called the 'PUG', it's available as an easy build kit here: https://www.angelwingdesigns.co.uk/collections/dammit By removing the nose block and inserting a plywood firewall, it can be converted to motor assist using a small 160 mAh 2S Lipo and quadcopter motor. To make it all look pretty, and streamline the motor, these two parts create a cowl and clip-on spinner. The cowl is simply bonded on to the firewall with contact adhesive (POR) after installing the motor. The spinner should be a snap fit over the folding prop. Depending on exactly motor choice, it maybe necessary to scale the cowl in Z to get correct spacing.
