This is a model steam engine design by the late, great Elmer Verburg.
Modeled from plans which appeared in the book "Elmer’s Engines"
I highly recommend doing a project like this, modeling a fairly complex device from old hand drawings is both challenging and fun. It forces you to learn new techniques that you may not have learned doing your everyday job.
All renderings were done in Photoview 360. (Which I personally hate.) :)
On a side note. I was very surprised at the accuracy of the original drawings. Most of the dimensions were fractional and everything (with very few exceptions) lined up perfectly in assembly.
Enjoy!
