Easy to print oilfield Pumpjack "Nodding Donkey", 1/100 scale. Image shows 1/52 print (done at .2mm layer height). This is an amalgam of pumpjack images I found online with a few additions for better use as terrain/ miniature gameplay. Style wise it is a little bit of a bunch of different era's machinery so by choosing your paint and finishing techniques, it should work globally from late 1800s to almost present day. Assembly images are included, you definitely want to look through it and dry fit everything before gluing. In the images I actually glued the electric motor in backwards, it should have the connection box away from the belt drive. The most difficult assembly is getting the structural uprights to support the center axle frame level and square. The counterweights and gearbox assembly is a little tough to get square with one another but set it against a table at whatever angle and it will keep them at least close to matching. This can be assembled at whatever point in the rotation is your preference, or if you are making a few you can make them different. There are dimples in some of the pieces to center a drill bit to pin the model for easier assembly. Between the pumpjack head and the top of the wellhead piling should be a wire or rope (model it in by hand, or print another wellhead piling and cut to fit), I did not add that to mine because I know that will snap the first time I transport the model. While this is scaled as accurately as I could, they are IRL a bunch of different sizes. Scale as you will, the only thing that gives a scale reference point is the ladder, so if you do that separately or leave it out, it should look right for whatever. Scale by 1.56 for gaslands / hotwheels / 1/64 Scale by 1.786 for 28mm / 1/56 || Apparently 1/52 (x1.923) looks best for heroic 28mm.
