Everything about Halloween is awesome; the costumes, the atmosphere of fun and the traditions to keep special place in our hearts and minds. Carving pumpkins is one of my favorite parts of the season and I always like to go and do something creative each year. Shaving the pumpkin (removing the skin) has become an increasingly desirable method to express myself artistically. When you use this technique, however, it is important to really light up the pumpkin from the inside and this is why I use an electric bulb. No candle could ever beat a 60W bulb however trying to place one in the pumpkin without it touching the sides can be a challenge. That is why I made this doo-hickey. Simply purchase the bulb of your choice, plug into a plug-in socket adapter (you can buy from Lowes or Home Depot) and attach to an extension cable with one of those ends with th three outlets. Now, just slip this over the end your light bulb will not only stay put in the middle of the jack-o-lantern, but it'll also stay directly un-immersed in pumpkin-goo.
