This puzzle was inspired by Puzzle Cube by WildRoseBuilds. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2975065 --an excellent design!

The ball is not easy to print. I messed with various orientations, speeds and layers. All I can say is that if you use the Alt-Print file here, use the slowest, thinnest layers you can tolerate. Fiddle with support until you get it to work. Please share your settings for others to follow.

I finally split the piece in two to make one of the three pieces. I used a Prusa i3 MK3, using eSun PLA+, .15 layers, 70-75 max speed. No support. 80% cooling. 215/60.

I glued the two pieces with CA. If you break the snaps, it's not a big deal. Just make sure the faces are flush and glue together.

There is also a stand file included here.
Category: Math Art
