Puzzle Box Holder
thingiverse
Like a lot of people, we went puzzle crazy during the pandemic. I got tired of reaching for the puzzle box top when trying to figure out where a piece went, or waiting while my fellow puzzlers were using it. This doohickey holds the box top or an answer sheet on the edge of the puzzle board where all can see it so no more reaching or waiting. To install this to the puzzle board, squeeze the back side together like a chip clip to mount it to the top edge of a puzzle board as shown. Then slide the puzzle box top into the slot. It also swivels so it can be used on the side of a puzzle board. With the two long posts this will hold a sheet of paper instead of the box top. Once the parts are printed, use an x-acto knife to slice through where the arrows show in the photo. This forms the paper clip to hold the sheet. It might work in PLA but I recommend PETG or better, just because the split shaft that holds the slotted block to the main clip might not hold up in PLA. The dimensions of the center section are sized for good squeezability in PETG.
