So, maybe you found stumbled across one of the puzzle cubes I designed. (If you haven't, find them here! http://www.thingiverse.com/Wooden_Fish/collections/puzzle-cubes) Maybe you printed one out (and hopefully posted a make!). Maybe you were even able to solve and assemble it. Then what? Enter Puzzle Cube Holder! Just print it out and gently place your cube into it. It acts as a great display stand, and also helps to hold your cube together and out of harm's reach. Print Settings Printer: Polar 3d Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: 15% Notes: Run through meshmixer to generate optimal print orientation and needed supports. You may want to scale up a couple per cent when slicing to assure your cube fits well. Post-Printing Step 1 Remove the supports. Step 2 Sand to achieve a flat, level bottom. Step 3 Print out one of our puzzle cubes, solve, and proudly display! Puzzle Cube Collection As I've already mentioned, I have begun designing a collection of polycube packing problem puzzles. These include various popular puzzles I've found searching the web, as well as some generated by programs. They range in skill level: some have hundreds of solutions and require only minutes, others have a single unique solution that takes hours to find.
