<p>This puzzle ring is also known as a Turkish Wedding Ring is made of 4 interlocking bands that assemble into one ring.</p><p>Legend says that an un-trusting person would give a wedding ring like this to their spouse. If they removed it to be unfaithful it would fall apart and they would be unable to replace it, proving their infidelity.</p><p>Its an interesting story, but thought to be a myth. The ring can be removed intact and isn't hard to reassemble. However it does look cool and was an interesting project to design and make.</p><p>This printed ok in Prusament PLA on a standard Mini+. I printed the ring horizontally to keep a good surface finish on the outside of the band. The bridge layers at the bottom of each band needed significant supports which makes the joints between the bands difficult to print cleanly. I've attached the settings I used but it needed reasonable finishing to remove the supports and clean some of the internal faces.</p><p>I have put together a parameterised model that can be adjusted for different finger sizes, ring length, band thickness and vertical/horizontal clearances.</p>
