PVC Backdrop joints

These joints make up a portable backdrop I made for a friend's wedding. All you need is some 1" PVC pipe, Ikea curtains and a light curtain. It turned out really well. Though I printed it in PLA, and I recommend doing ABS -- it may just be my solidoodle, but this pushes the strength limits of PLA. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Solidoodle 4 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .3mm Infill: 30% Notes: I did 9 perimeters and, in retrospect, should have sped it up to aid layer adhesion. If you can print in ABS, do it -- but make sure to fine tune the joints a bit. They are designed to be SUPER tight to the PVC pipe, so fractions of a millimeter make a significant difference. Post-Printing A couple of the joints have to be assembled with epoxy. The parts are labeled as Joint A and Joint A.002.
