This is a simple connector to join two pieces of 1 1/2" PVC. Join the two pieces with a 1/4" x 2 1/2" machine screw and nut. Each half is recessed; one for a flat head screw and the other for a captive nut. Then line up the pieces and glue into the PVC pipe. When you pull out the bolt, the segments are easily stored. We use these for frames on our Halloween displays where a permanent glue joint is not practical for storage and trying to bolt through the flange is ineffective We use standard PVC cement (see picture) and it bonds the PLA+ and schedule 40 pipe perfectly. Note: this is not intended to carry heavy loads and should not be used to support a person. .
