Description End caps for 1" PVC and 3/4" PVC pipe to make a triple nest air piston. 1" to 3/4" to 1/2". Used for a Halloween themed pop-up-from-behind-the-bushes prop. How to Print Printed in PLA scaled to 102.20% on a Monoprice Architect printer. The Grand Scheme See video. The inner-bottom of each section of pipe was heated with a heat gun and squished together to form a slight bulge to prevent the pipe from existing the cap. Filed and sanded for a more precise fit to slide/collapse nicely. I couldn't get normal PVC caps to work without the PVC wedging...preventing the collapse. Used normal PVC cement with a heavy dose of primer. Unsure of durability of joint at this point. After assembly, use a liberal coating of Teflon dry lubricant to dramatically reduce any sticking/wedging that remains.
