With these joints and lengths of PVC, you can make a dome or a full icosahedron. I recommend scaling up by 3% to give yourself a bit of extra margin for inserting the 3/8ths PVC pipe. I used ABS, which worked pretty well, but the layers de-laminated a bit under stress. Maybe nylon would work better. No support material is required to print this (with ABS). I still do recommend a heated platform, though.
