Adapter for PWK 30 Carburetors to fit on Ural / Dnepr Motorcycles. The Carburetor is pressed into the adapter and locked via a screw / and high-temperature Silicone. The adapter can also be used on the older vertical carb mountings like the M62 M72 k750 have, just press in the carb into the right position. Those cheap Chinese knock off carbs are surprisingly good (compared to all Russian Ural/Dnepr carbs) they are shockingly Reliable, offer a better fuel economy, and better startup behavior. the RAR archive includes the OG SketchUp file, an STL file and a fusion 360 file(which is just the STLl imported into fusion) How to: 1. CNC the Adapter out of Aluminium or brass 2. Double-check all measurements and make sure the adapter fits onto the cylinder head 2.1 i used all measurements from my own carbs however since those are 20$ carbs, the consistency could be off so if necessary use 240 grit sandpaper and sand down the inside of the adapter till you got a really tight fit! like, if I press it in I won't come off tight! 3. use some High temp gasket silicone and put some of it on the inner lip and upper inner walls of the adapter 4. position the adapter and carb together under a press or in a vice, and slowly press the carb into the adapter 4.1 clean up all silicone that is pressed out 5. (optional extra safety) drill a hole into the side that goes thru the carb and adapter and cut an m3 thread into it. 5.1 shorten an m3 screw and make sure it is flush with the inside of the carb 6. use a bit of red Loctite (263) on the m3 screw and screw it in, wait for 24h for the Loctite to cure fully Have fun riding your Russian War Horse ;)
