It's a vintage camera adapter that uses 1.35v mercury batteries. 1n4148 diode and SR44 1.55v battery are required for production. CAUTION: Fold tightly when inserting the diode as shown in the picture. 1.55v > 1.35v adapter using SR44 1.55v switching diode 1n4148
