Python Function Plotter and STL Generator thingiverse

Python Function Plotter and STL Generator

thingiverse lizard00 4065604 Free

This includes a Python script for plotting functions of the form __z = f(x, y)__ and generating a corresponding STL file suitable for printing.

To run the program, you'll need to know how to edit and run Python scripts. All the necessary edits should be near the top of function __\_\_main\_\_()__ in file __funcstl.py__. I was unsuccessful at creating a standalone executable file on either Windows or Linux. This would have been a lot more convenient, especially if it had a GUI.

This was an exercise in my effort to learn Python. To develop the script I used Version 3.8 with the Visual Studio Code editor.
