Python Thread Library v1.4

Python Thread Library v1.4

thingiverse

A library that generates OpenSCAD files of ACME threaded objects. Have you ever wanted to work with machine screws, but didn't want to shell out for an acme thread until you were sure it would fit? Did you ever just want to make a quick clamp or positioner, and need ed a screw to drive the stage? This library is intended to solve these sorts of problems by letting you define ACME threaded rods and nuts. This is a set of python routines to work with shapes defined by triangles. Currently, the library is set up to do two things: Generate STL files for external and internal threads. There is an extensive blob of geometry primitives and functions behind it though, which I will eventually use to work with other shapes. The top level functions of interest are located in ams_screwlib.py.
