Qi Wireless Charger for Nexus 5 and 4 (and others)

This wireless charger fits the Qi charging circuit available from Adafruit Industries (https://www.adafruit.com/products/2162) and is sized for a Nexus 5 and 4 and should work for other phones that support wireless charging as well. The charging shelf is covered in fabric that is held in place by a ring on the outside shelf edge. Parts needed: One 100mm x 150mm piece of thin fabric Two 3mm nuts Two 3mm x 15mm screws One Adafruit Qi charging circuit linked above Edit Jan 12 2015: I made a minor adjustment to the shelf, widening the wire gap to account for different soldering on different Adafruit boards. The previous design worked but may have require a small plastic trim which is not longer required. Instructions 1) Print Wireless Charger Shelf.stl. 2) Print Wireless Charger Base Bottom.stl. 3) Be ready with two 3mm nuts. 4) Print Wireless Charger Base Top.stl. 5) When printing the top, pause the printing on the first layer that looks like the photo attached to this project, and insert the two 3mm nuts into the print as shown. 6) Press the charging coil into the square recess of the shelf. 7) Place the fabric on the shelf and snap the outer ring into place. (you may wish to use an adhesive to keep it in place as well.) Cut holes in the fabric for the two aligning pins on the shelf. 8) Press the shelf into place on the base bottom. The charging circuit board should now also fit into place in the base bottom. 9) Feed the two 3mm x 15mm cap screws up through the base and through the holes in the circuit board. 10) Press the base top into place and tighten the 2 cap screws. 11) Optionally put something soft on the base, even a few strips of electrical or Kapton tape. 12) Charge wirelessly -_-
