QIDI Tech 1 - Magnetic Door Latch

<p>This is a remix of <a href="/CheesePatrol/about">CheesePatrol's</a> object, the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1632173">Qidi Tech 1 - magnetic door stop</a>.</p> <p>Attaching this object underneath the printer's handle and inserting magnets into the opposite end of the object creates a magnetic latch that holds the Qidi Tech 3D printer's door shut and also stops it from swinging inside the 3D Printer.</p> <p>The neodymium magnets that I used were smaller in diameter at 6.35mm than the 8mm in the original object, which required a little re-design on my part.</p> <p>I used OpenSCAD to import <a href="/CheesePatrol/about">CheesePatrol's</a><em>qidi-door-magnet-outside-mount.stl</em>, fill in his magnet holes and hollow out a smaller hole for my 6.35mm magnets.</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
