Qidi Tech Build Platform Jog Z-Axis Brace / Rest / Scrape Platform Tool

This platform is used when jogging the Z-Axis down to rest on something, in this case a specific lightweight platform. It's useful for alleviating stress on the Z-Axis rods when servicing or scraping the print bed. This allows you to put A LOT more force down so be mindful of the stresses introduced to the machine parts as to not damage or bend anything. I was using a block of wood prior but figured I'd create something lighter that serves this specific purpose. This will work for the Flashforge Creator Pro also and a 148mm version has been added for upgraded Qidi machines. Print Settings Printer: QIDI Tech Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: Printed in ABS with 3 shell layers, 7 top and bottom layers. My infill for these parts was 30% and layer height 0.2mm, feel free to change them to your desired amounts. Mine seems to have printed with minor supports to keep the angles perfect as I had them turned on by default but I think you may be able to get away without them. Post-Printing I lower the print-bed slowly on the Z-Axis while watching from the side until I see the rails touch the bottom of the platform slots slightly and then it should be braced. You want the print-bed to be very close to level when braced and not to over-stress the Z-Axis support rods. When lowering the Z-Axis onto the slots, please be mindful of your wingnuts and print-bed heater wiring. I haven't tried leaving it in there while printing but I assume it would work as when the print-bed goes to its lowest Z-Axis home point, there is still space between the bottom of the print-bed rails and the slots.
