I designed this Night Shade Cover for the Qidi Tech printer to hide the LCD light at night when the printer is running. It is 2 parts and the hinge holder fits into the gap between the sheet metal and plastic LCD housing. Three installation steps are shown in the photos. Print Settings Printer: QIDI Tech Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.12 Infill: 30% Notes: Support was used for both and extra support was utilized on the cover hinge pegs to make sure they came out rounded properly. Printed in ABS with 3 shell layers, 7 top and bottom layers. My infill for these parts was 30% and layer height 0.12mm, feel free to change them to your desired amounts. Post-Printing I needed to sand the pegs and peg holes slightly for the hinge assembly to fit properly since I had support connecting them but it was quick and easy with a file set.
