<p>The BL Touch on the Qidi X-CF Pro is very close to the hot end and can get damaged by the heat. This shield provides protection.</p><p>It also makes it much easier to transfer the BL Touch between extruders because it replaces the two 2mm thick washers under the BL Touch which are a pain to line up.</p><p>Print with a high temp filament such as eSun's PACF.</p><p>Install as shown in the picture. </p>
