Revised extruder frame for the X-One. If your reading this you already know the stock cover/cage is a tank but does serve a few important functions - X axis end stop and secures the filament feed tube. The main improvement is the weight savings @15g versus 200g. Your stepper motors and X axis assembly will certainly appreciate this. You will also gain 10mm of X-axis build area from 140mm to 150mm. Overall cooling is better and you can now access the extruder assembly without removing the cage. You can also view your filament during loading and unloading. V2 - Centered filament tube guide, larger frame joints and cable tie bar Print Settings Printer: Qidi Tech X-One Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20 Infill: 25 Notes: 4 top and bottom layers for rigidity. I printed with PLA which has been holding up fine but may try ABS later. The frame should fit snug over the heat bar. There is also a zip tie loop on the back to secure the wire loom so make sure you use it. Filament tube socket assembly can be used with or without the nut. Mine threaded in pretty snug but I decided to use the nut just to be safe. Post-Printing
