Qiditech frame edge and oversize test
thingiverse
This is a frame test for Qiditech and other 150 x 230 bed printers. After downloading the test file, you will need to set your model axes so that the frame matches the edges of the bed as the model is oversized to most slicers and won't likely center automatically. It will create a stripe around the theoretical edge of your print area at the 150 x 230 marks. Next, it will start building "T" towers at a 30 degree angle over the edge of the bed. Be sure not to let it complete the print as it will cause the belts to jump after about halfway up the tower. By doing so, you can determine how much extra printing area is available if needed for large prints. Knowing how to add supports at an angle to objects hanging off the printer's edge is also a valuable skill. As a side note, using the left nozzle allows for more overhang on the front and left, while the right nozzle provides more room on the right and front. The cant of the T towers partway up is due to the other axis hitting its stop, causing the next layer to be displaced.
