QR Code Cap Ender 3V2 with Deathly Hallows inset and insert

thingiverse

This design is a remix of two different STL's found on thingiverse, I used the "QR Code Cover Ender 3 V2 CR-Touch" designed by 3ddruckmarc and for the insert I used the "Deathly Hallows Logo" designed by Remanater. I imported both files into blender and used a boolean modifier to engrave the deathly hallows logo into the cap. When printed i put the cap face up so I did not have to mess with any supports in the logo itself. The insert is pretty straight forward, printed with one face down with no supports. I used a raft on both to make sure they stayed in place as I am still new experimenting with adhesion on my printer. Both files were sliced using Cura. Not quite a perfect fit took some sanding to get the insert to fit and a little git of E6000 to make sure it stayed in place Any tips or ideas are appreciated!
