Students at our local university have taken the initiative to create a crowdfunding site, found here: http://gofundme.com/maker. This innovative project aims to help kids in need by developing prosthetic hands as part of the E-nable program (check it out: enablingthefuture.org). The makers group is also planning to establish a makerspace on campus where members can gather and collaborate.
