Had a Quad 22 Preamp in for some repairs but the selector button fell to bits. They are not available anywhere for a fair price so I decided to make a 3D printable one to help out my customer and others who might want to refresh their Quad 22 buttons. Printing is a little tricky and took a few experiments to get it right. Level the bed with 0.1mm-ish paper and set slicer bed/adhesion offset to 0.1mm. Set the first layer height to 0.2mm. 100% infill. Place the model face up on build plate and use brim adhesion setting with outside only checked. When finished printing peel away the brim to reveal the nice sharp edges of the button rear. The model size has been adjusted so that when the brim is peeled away the final size is correct. They are a fiddle to fit just like the originals but once on the fit is excellent. The mono/stereo buttons are usually white so thats easy but the source buttons are a very dark red - if you want to match this colour look for a "wine red" filaments. You'll notice that the beveled (filleted) edges are not quite as rounded as the original buttons. I did try more rounded edges but it didn't turn out so good. Maybe someone with a bit more time can improve on this.
