This will be made from aluminum to house .365" wooden poplar booms and also offer placement to drill holes for mounting the APM 2.5 flight control board. The overall size is 4" square and the wall thickness of the frame is .070". There are a few modifications I would like to do with this prior to manufacturing a prototype like: implementing a mounting bar between the longitudinal axis of the copter booms and maybe one in the front of the copter to later have a platform for a first person view (FPV) camera. There will be spacers of aluminum placed between the flight control board and the upper electronic platform to house the GPS chip. I may make a lower platform for the RX depending on space and strut height.
