Quadcopter - Fearless

Quadcopter - Fearless

thingiverse

This is the second revised version of my 'Predator' quadcopter. The two words I have designed around are modularity and durability, there are now mounting holes at the end of the arms for prop guards as well as extra landing/stability legs. I would recommend using either metal/nylon screws, however you could just as well use (strong!) cable ties to hold everything together. The dimension of the main holes are ~4.2mm diameter +/- a couple hundred mics depending on your printer. I will hopefully be adding more varied and useful attachments for the body of the quad and the arms. This is more of a functional quad rather than particularly light i.e. when I was designing it strength was more of a concern than mass, however of course mass was a large factor when making decisions. Instructions ABS I recommend printing everything at 200 microns layer height, with 50% infill for the arms, 35-50% for the plates and 30+% for the landing gear, with 3 skins.
