Payload Drop Release mechanism used for dropping items from quadcopters (drones) and other RC flying models.Designed with Autodesk Inventor 2013. All files are included in the zip folder.The model is designed to be used with the very common MG90S Servo Motor.The assembly is designed to mount to a battery bracket which is affixed to the bottom of a 450 size quadcopter.Modify or create your own bracket to use on your model. All parts can be 3D Printed except the release pin which can be made 1/8"(3mm) SS rod stock.See the included animation file in the zip folder showing how it works!
