My try of designing and building a quadruped named "Hugo" ------------------------------------------------------------ This is my 3rd version of an quadruped with 12 servos. i'll post pictures/video of it as soon it's printed and assembled. If someone is faster, pls post it :) The whole bot should weight about 500-600g, it uses the MG90S Servos, which lift around 2,5kg at 6V and should be able to lift around 600-700g. The Servo Holders are pressed-fit. * Each leg have its own (cheap) step down module * easy access of BT module * wiring at top for easy access * changed from 18650 to lipo power * more or less minimum weight on structure * easy as possible to print * holes in boards for fixing tapes and wires ### to think about * legs strong enough to hold weight * heat of step downs = danger for lipo? ### for a full build you need the following parts: * 1x quadruped_v3_baseplate.stl * 1x quadruped_v3_topplate.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_body_spacer_v1.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_body_spacer_v2.stl * 4x quadruped_v3_leg.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_feet_v1.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_feet_v2.stl * 1x quadruped_v3_lipo_warner.stl * 12x quadruped_v3_servo_spin.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_shoulder_v2.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_shoulder_v2.stl * 1x quadruped_v3_sonic_blend.stl **EDIT** The legs needs a redesign. to build it you need to bend it a bit, and abs breaks to easily. And the legs itself need more stable construct..
