These are the parts for making a replica of the Quake Tower. UPDATE 4/5/2019: I updated the corner brace. 1) The new brace allows for the beams and the corners to be touching. If the latex tubing is too thin, the tower is too weak when the braces are not installed. 2) I made the ends of the braces thicker. I noticed some of the braces would crack while the pins are being installed. The extra material should help strengthen the pieces. Note: The image of the fully assembled tower does not have the new angle braces. I'll get this up soon. End of update. I will continue to make improvements, so feel free to message me or comment with ideas. PINS FOR ANGLE BRACES: cut ~12mm pins from ~2.85 filament or other material about that size (see the image of the assembled tower for example). Another alternative is to glue the snap hardware described in the Quake Tower instructions (see Willis and Stein, 2014). See: Willis, M. and Stein, R.S. (2014) Model Quake Towers: Construction and demo guidelines. U.S. Geological Survey. http://52.24.98.51/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/2014-Model-Quake-Towers-updated-opt.pdf. Some of the files (with "run" in the name) are set up so you can print all of a particular part for one tower.
