Qualia (iPad Retina) Screen Case

This is a screen case for the Qualia (iPad 2) screen and displayport driver board available from Adafruit. The screen is held in by friction, and holds quite well. 8 Screws join the perimeter, and one for the handle. Three buttons on the back are functional, though I did not include access for the power switch. This includes a mount plate at 5cm, though it can be resized as you see fit. Also included is a modified version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:203420 (scredriver handle) to allow this to be handheld. It's just the handle, simplified and joined with the backing plate. Works pretty well. It was designed as a handheld close-in monitor for detailed design work so I wouldn't have to lean in to see my monitor during fine manipulations. It also functions as a secondary monitor during other times. Whatever you want to use it for. Printed on a modified Printrbot Metal Simple. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: No support needed. Raft may be needed if printing without a heated bed. Post-Printing De-burr edges so it's more comfortable to hold. Drill and all mounting holes to recieve 8 3M screws for the edges. Mounting plate should use a 18mm 3M screw and lock not. Use a 24mm 3M screw and lock nut for the handle.
