This is a redesigned lens holder frame for the Quanum FPV Goggles V2 from Hobbyking. I designed this frame for using Fresnel lenses from Optolife.com with the Quanum goggles. Order the lenses from here and cut to size with for example circular saw:http://www.optolife.com/diy_projector_lens/FRL021.htmlhttp://www.optolife.com/diy_projector_lens/FRL006.html The frame is ideal for mouting lenses cut to 120 x 75 mm size, but feel free to modify the included SketchUp file to fit your specific lens. Just remember to post back your designs as Remixes for others to use! I have tested both FRL021 and FRL006 with 120 mm and 180 mm focal lengths, respectively, and I personally prefer the one with 180 mm focal length, but it is really just a matter of taste. As the lenses themselves are cheap, I would suggest testing both to find the one that you like the most. Both lenses will improve image clarity and reduce distortions when compared to the included stock lenses. This frame also gives you a bit larger field of view if used as designed. Yet another benefit is reduced light leakages from outside of the frame, as this frame is just the right size to fit into the goggles.
