Quarter roll coin holder from Airborne container (spring-loaded)

thingiverse

Convert empty Airborne container into a spring-loaded holder for US quarters. Design is fully parametric in case you have different container or coin size. Instructions This design was tested and works great with off-brand versions of Airborne. Print from PLA fits perfectly on the bottle. If you need to tune the design, change some variable, they all commented. It is possible to print only one part by commenting out the other. Besides 2 printed parts and Airborne container you will need a spring. It should be not too strong, roughly 3/4in in diameter and 3-1/4 to 3-1/2in long. Diameter may be up to ~0.9 in, as long as it fits into the piston. P.S. Spring from the inside of the cheapest plastic toilet paper roll holder from Home Depot ($1.85) works perfectly!!! You may want to decrease piston height variable to match the height of a fully compressed spring. Lastly, after printing you may have to file coin receptacle a little bit to make it smoother.
