Lens insert to expand Quest 2 IPD by around 1mm (from 68 to 69mm). This works by gently pushing the Quest 2 eyecups slightly apart past IPD setting 3. The OS recognizes the increase in IPD and increases the stereo separation also by around 1mm. As a bonus, the insert also acts as a protective ring to stop the headset lenses from getting scratched. ### Warning Even though we tested the insert with our headset without issues, by using this extender you are doing so at your own risk. We cannot be held liable for damages caused by the insert. ### Order pre-printed Our online store (world wide shipping): https://prettygood3d.com/listing/889262751/quest-2-ipd-expander Our Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/listing/889262751/quest-2-ipd-expander Note that these are our only two official stores. We want the community to freely print the adaptor for personal use, but you cannot sell 3d prints of these files or their derivatives. ### Install Guide (69mm IPD version) You need to gently push apart the eyecups and clip on the insert. See the photos for a step by step guide. If you feel like you are applying too much force and might break the eyecup, STOP! Your printer might be out of calibration. See the printing guide. ### Install Guide (for other IPD) Adjust the eyecups to be between two settings: - For 60mm IPD, adjust between setting 1 and 2. - For 66mm IPD, adjust between setting 2 and 3. Then snap on the insert to lock in the IPD setting. ### Print Guide No need for raft or support. Can be printed on both PLA or PETG. If your printer is not calibrated, you may need to increase / decrease the model size by +/- 1% to 2%.
